Key Responsibilities- Drive insights and actions for reseller partners and vendors, identifying opportunities to increase usage of the Xvantage platform.
- Focus on a portfolio of customers or vendors to build a full solution, developing a comprehensive understanding of products and services across the GTM organization.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive offerings to position Ingram Micro as a trusted advisor and market leader.
- Develop sales collateral, presentations, and marketing materials to enable the sales team in adopting category solutions and/or Ingram Micro value add.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure a comprehensive understanding of category solutions and value add to customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Assist in pre‑sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical consultations, and proposal development to secure new business opportunities.
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their challenges, goals, and requirements, providing personalized recommendations and solutions to address specific needs.
- Work closely with key vendors to stay informed about product updates, promotions, and marketing campaigns, leveraging vendor partnerships to deliver the best solutions and value to customers.
- Experience in a sales or solutions role within the technology industry, preferably with a focus on platform products or services.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and possessing a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Customer‑centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships.
- Team‑player ability and collaboration with cross‑functional teams and vendors.
- Adaptability to fast‑paced, dynamic environments and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to identify and document process improvements for other Business Development Representatives, acting as a mentor or team leader.
- Strong proficiency with CRM functionality and utilization.
- Advanced knowledge and business acumen of the customer/vendor solutions category.
- A four‑year college degree (or equivalent experience) and 3years of functional experience, including at least 1year of position‑specific experience.
- Experience in sales enablement and customer experience roles is preferred.
- Ability to handle complex support issues and provide high‑quality customer service.
- Base pay: USD $56,000.00–$89,600.00 per year (range varies by location and role).
