Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Salesperson role based in Buffalo, NY. The Salesperson will build and manage relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors, promoting the company’s HVAC equipment and solutions. Daily activities include identifying new business opportunities, preparing and presenting product proposals, and following up on leads to drive sales growth. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and manufacturer partners to develop accurate quotations, ensure timely delivery, and address customer questions or issues.
The Salesperson will maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of HVAC products, industry standards, and project requirements to provide informed, consultative support to customers.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and customer relationship skills, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing business.
- Knowledge of or interest in commercial HVAC systems, equipment specifications, and related building technologies.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities to work with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Solid organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple accounts, projects, and deadlines.
- Comfort with basic technical and financial concepts, including reading plans/specifications and developing quotations.
- Proficiency with common office and CRM software tools for managing contacts, opportunities, and reporting.
- Ability to work on‑site in Buffalo, NY, travel within the assigned territory as needed, and collaborate with team members.
- Prior experience in B2B sales, construction, mechanical engineering, or HVAC is beneficial; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
