ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff)
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education
- Strategically manage and grow key accounts by tailoring solutions to unique needs; drive product differentiation and achieve sales targets
- Review, analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
- Address external market challenges while fostering collaboration internally to drive cohesive sales strategies
- Proactively work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights and execute sales strategies
- Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face interactions with top target customers)
- Use problem-solving (traditional/nontraditional) to improve performance in assigned region
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve sales performance goals and complete administrative duties for the territory
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably related)
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred
- Preferred: experience managing complex healthcare accounts/stakeholders and working with specialty pharmacies, patient support programs, reimbursement/access partners
- Preferred: neurology/psychiatry/pediatric/rare disease/specialty therapeutics/complex disease state experience
- Preferred: new product launch experience (specialty/complex markets)
- Proven accomplishments meeting objectives in the market
- Strong written/oral communication; leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology
- Knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing preferred
- Pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driver’s license
Regular travel including possible air, weekend, and overnight.
