Security Officer - Weekend Patrol in Buffalo, NY — As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. This role involves unarmed patrols, high visibility, and calm, professional responses to alarms and customer concerns.

You will document observations and support daily operations through reliable presence and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $20.22 / Hour

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies, office areas, ATM or vestibule areas, and exterior perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, check identification as required by post orders, and help maintain orderly visitor flow and/or employee access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as directed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate noteworthy information to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
