Learn more:  As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees, visitors, and drivers with clear communication and customer service.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a food and beverage distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, yard, loading dock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property loss.

+ Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying visitor and contractor credentials, issuing directions, and maintaining visitor, delivery, and/or key control logs as required.

+ Support shipping and receiving operations by monitoring truck and trailer traffic, observing dock door activity, and documenting unusual conditions and/or incidents according to post orders.

* + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
