Position Overview
The Ingram Micro Receptionist will assist the Security Professional in ensuring the safety and security of the facility and attendees at the corporate office located in Buffalo, NY. The role will be onsite five days per week and includes front desk, visitor management, and emergency response duties.
Responsibilities- Visitor Management: greet, direct, verify identities, issue visitor badges, and maintain sign‑in/sign‑out logs to control access to the facility.
- Access Control: monitor entry and exit points, manage security systems (Badge Access, CCTV, Intrusion, etc.), and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
- Surveillance Monitoring: observe CCTV and other security systems to detect suspicious activity and report incidents promptly.
- Emergency Response: act as the first point of contact during emergencies, alert leadership, and coordinate emergency medical response or other safety procedures.
- Administrative Support: perform clerical tasks such as data entry, word processing, and managing phone and email communications; greet visitors, direct them to the right locations; ensure visitors are escorted in the building by an Ingram Micro associate; interface with our landlord; manage facilities concerns.
- Responsible for security and alarm access.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Ingram Micro Global security and safety policies and ensure compliance.
- Serve as a member of the emergency response team (ERT); meet monthly to discuss related office safety and security measures and to schedule and conduct fire drills.

Qualifications- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in a corporate office environment within a security based role, previous experience interfacing with executives.
- Managing accounts with access controls and CCTV experience.
Base pay range: USD $36,600.00 - $54,900.00 per year. Additional rewards may include merit increases, annual bonus, and long‑term incentives. U.S.
