Position TitleSecurity Officer Patrol Access Control – Buffalo, NY – Part‑Time.
Position DetailsPay Rate: $17.50/hour. Position Type:
Part Time.
- Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document security‑related concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report maintenance, operational, or security‑related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Support incident reporting, key control, and shift handoff communication while following Allied Universal standards and client site policies.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
