This role primarily involves controlling traffic at school intersections to ensure the safety of children crossing thoroughfares to and from school.
Responsibilities- Control vehicular and pedestrian traffic at a school crossing.
- Observe and note traffic violations of motorists while on crossing duty.
- Prepare reports of accidents occurring on the post.
- Prepare daily reports as may be required from time to time.
- Deal with children and the general public.
- Graduation from Grammar School or its equivalent.
- Must pass a complete medical examination prior to appointment.
- Ability to deal with the general public and control children.
- Ability to work under adverse weather conditions.
- Tact, courtesy, favorable appearance, good physical condition.
