We're partnering with an established global leader in the aerospace and defense industry that is seeking an accomplished Chief Security Officer (CSO) to build and lead its enterprise-wide security strategy.
This is a high-impact executive leadership role where you'll shape the future of global security operations, oversee crisis management and resiliency programs, and partner with executive leadership to protect people, facilities, and critical assets across an international footprint.

As the Chief Security Officer, you'll lead the organization's global security function while developing scalable programs that support continued business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the company's global physical security strategy.
- Build and lead the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), regional security teams, and external security partners.
- Oversee crisis management, emergency response, business resilience, and incident command programs.
- Establish consistent global security standards across facilities, personnel, travel, executive protection, and operations.
- Lead enterprise security assessments and standardize security technologies including access control, surveillance, and guard force operations.
- Partner with Facilities and Real Estate teams to integrate security into new construction, expansions, and site improvements.
- Leverage threat intelligence and security analytics to identify risks and guide strategic decision-making.
- Lead complex investigations and serve as the primary liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
- Champion a culture of security awareness, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive corporate security leadership experience.
- Experience building and leading enterprise security programs within aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or similarly complex industries.
- Demonstrated success developing global security operations, crisis management, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Experience supporting international security initiatives across multiple locations.
- Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of global regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance if required.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Buffalo, NY area for a hybrid work schedule.
