As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a shelter location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Job Schedule:
- Wed 07:00 AM - 01:30 PM
- Thur 07:00 AM - 01:30 PM
- Fri 07:00 AM - 01:30 PM
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of shelter common areas, entrances, exits, grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and maintain awareness of individuals entering and leaving the location in accordance with site procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
