Security Officer

Securitas is seeking a PT Security Officer to protect client facilities through professional on-site security services. In this part-time role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, control access, verify identification, and respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies. You will observe and report safety and security conditions, complete clear written reports, and use communication devices and security technology as directed. Success in this position requires integrity, vigilance, strong customer-service skills, and the ability to follow detailed post orders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned premises to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Control access points, verify identification, and maintain visitor logs
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents following established procedures
• Observe, report, and document security and safety hazards accurately and promptly
• Provide professional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors
• Conduct routine safety and security checks of doors, gates, and critical areas
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required
• Follow post orders, company policies, and client-specific security protocols
• Use communication devices and security technology as directed
• Participate in required training and maintain necessary certifications
