HVAC R Technician in Buffalo

Van Hook Service Company Inc. was founded in 1973 and currently services thousands of locations throughout New York and Pennsylvania.

We are seeking a detail-oriented HVAC technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems. The technician will clean, adjust, and repair systems, guide customers to the most appropriate air quality solutions, and perform maintenance, warranty, and emergency repairs from installation to end-of-life.

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC/R systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Assisting with customers' queries.

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as an HVAC/R technician; willingness to continue education in the HVAC field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Understanding principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work after hours when scheduled.
