Overview

Buffalo. Philpac. Maintenance Technician. $30 - $31/hour.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preserving the good operating condition of the company's production equipment through regular preventative maintenance and break/fix work as necessary.
  • Perform facility maintenance tasks including painting, landscaping, and minor plumbing/electrical repairs.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of mechanical systems on the premises.
  • Make periodic visits to select customers to perform maintenance/repairs on previously sold equipment (e.g., stretch wrappers, paper packing, and strapping machines).
Qualifications
  • Education:

    A High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Licenses /

    Certifications:

    A valid driver's license is required. Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a relevant field will be a plus.
  • Experience:

    A minimum of five years of industrial maintenance experience is required. Prior experience in the corrugated and/or packaging industry is preferred.
Skills/Abilities
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, preventative maintenance processes, and methods.
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Lifting capacity of 25 to 50 pounds.
