Repair Specialist

Job Description

A certified Safelite Repair Specialist I will utilize industry‑leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs and champion the Safelite Spirit with a can‑do attitude, caring heart, and service mindset, bringing unexpected happiness to customers through high‑quality work.

• Learn to repair vehicle glass in classroom and hands‑on training, focusing on the Safelite Way of Fitting.
• Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles.
• Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication through Safelite handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
• Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
• Clean customer vehicles during wait/idle time and perform housekeeping tasks in the company vehicle and shop.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, company‑issued tools, and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.
• Driving duties monitored via cameras, GPS, and tracking technologies to ensure safety and compliance.

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license and any other licenses required by law.
• On‑the‑job training and completion of Safelite Safe Tech™ certification.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.and assist with windshields weighing 26–50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend and twist.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and safe handling of chemicals.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and be monitored via camera/video surveillance.
• Strong customer‑service skills and ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to work scheduled days with flexibility on start and end times.
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot independently and collaboratively.
• Adherence to professional appearance and company uniform and PPE policies.

• Competitive weekly base pay starting at $18/hour (range $16.50–$25.00).
