Service Tech, Field Customer Service

Position Overview

Field Service Technician – responsible for providing outstanding customer service while troubleshooting and servicing building systems in the field.

• Conduct service calls related to HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry within the Branch territory.
• Explain repairs and services to customers courteously over the phone and in person.
• Maintain a safe working environment and practice safe working habits, complying with client safety standards on-site.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have carpentry knowledge and experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is helpful.
• General contractor’s license is preferred.
• Current valid license and good driving record required.
• Knowledge and experience with HVAC equipment and appliances (if performing HVAC duties).
• Must hold appropriate licenses as required by law (if performing HVAC duties).
• Able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Some knowledge of computers is necessary.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers, sales people, contractors, shop personnel, and Will Scot employees.

Base wage range: $24.10 – $32.70 per hour.

Variable pay opportunities include commission, bonus, performance rewards, and other incentive programs.
