Rightech is a leading nationwide provider of technical staffing services, and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Central Office Technician in Buffalo starting July 13th.

Job Description:

• Install, stitch, crimp, terminate, and test coaxial cables in central office and telecommunications environments while ensuring secure, high-quality connections.
• Perform coax cable preparation, connector installation, and cable routing in accordance with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit layouts to complete installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Test and troubleshoot coaxial cable systems using appropriate test equipment to identify faults, verify signal integrity, and resolve connectivity issues.
• Install, label, and organize cable infrastructure, maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to central office cable management standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality control requirements while working independently or as part of a team to support network installations, equipment turn-ups, and maintenance projects.
