HVAC Technician

Pearce is a leading technology‑enabled provider of asset management solutions for mission‑critical electromechanical infrastructure throughout North America, offering technical maintenance, repair, operations, and engineering services for UPS systems, backup generators, BESS, cooling systems, and other critical infrastructure across renewable energy, telecom, and data center markets.

We are seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This fast‑paced role is ideal for self‑directed, highly motivated individuals ready to travel and grow in the telecom industry. The position is regional; candidates must reside in the Batavia, New York area.

• Maintain cooling systems – diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of entire systems.
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
• Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

• Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (required).
• 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Candidates should reside in the Batavia, New York area.

• Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
• Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
• Occasional overnights required – company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
• Driving to remote work sites as needed.
  
  Exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). – $83,200 annual salary, DOE. Additional compensation may include performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.
