Shift: Days and Hours vary

Compensation: $22.00-$24.00/hour, based on experience

What We Are Looking For

NOCO is looking for a dependable, safety-focused individual who is interested in beginning a career in environmental field services. No previous environmental experience is required—we provide the training needed to succeed in this role. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, enjoys hands-on work, and is comfortable working as part of a team in industrial and outdoor environments. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop valuable skills in environmental cleanup, industrial services, spill response, and hazardous-material handling.

What

You Will Do
  • Safely collect and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Properly handle including waste chemicals, oil, or sludge, to designated disposal or treatment sites.
  • Must be willing and able to work at elevated heights, including on ladders, scaffolding, cranes, or other elevated work surfaces, as required.
  • Work in confined-space environments.
  • Must be willing to remain clean-shaven to ensure the proper fit and use of required PPE.
  • Follow protocols for the safe removal of contaminants, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and suits.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during operations, including the correct use of PPE and equipment.
  • Participate in safety training, emergency response drills, and routine safety audits to minimize risks on-site.
  • Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide information on the waste removal process.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while delivering services and addressing any customer concerns or questions.
  • Perform tasks associated with emergency response, hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials.
  • Ability to work during scheduled hours, with occasional work on nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
  • Work in industrial settings such as factories, chemical plants, warehouses, construction sites, and power plants.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on operational and business needs.

What You Will Need
  • No previous environmental field experience required.
  • Interest in learning environmental cleanup, industrial services, and emergency-response work.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and willingness to follow instructions and established procedures.
  • Dependability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled environments.
  • Willingness to work varying schedules, including 12-hour days, nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
  • Willingness to wear company-issued PPE, including safety glasses, a hard hat, steel-toed footwear, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and a respirator.
  • Ability to remain clean-shaven when required for proper respirator use.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Previous construction, warehouse, landscaping, manufacturing, mechanical, or other hands-on experience is helpful but not required.
  • HAZWOPER, OSHA 10, Confined Space Entry, and Lockout/Tagout certifications are helpful but not required. Company-paid training will be provided.
