Pay Range: $19.00-$25.00/hour

Job Summary:
A Juvenile Justice Caseworker is responsible to productively maintain youth in the community during any period of juvenile justice system involvement without youth further penetrating the juvenile justice system.

Education:
Minimum
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Drug & Alcohol Counseling, Human Services, Education or related field
OR High School Diploma with at least 6 years of related experience
Experience :
Supervision of adolescents experience preferred
License/Registration/ Certification:
Must have a valid NYS driver's license
Physical Requirements
- Work required is one on one or in a group, in the community or in the home where the child lives, support child in various community venues; attend meetings and trainings in administrative buildings as required.
- The constant physical demand of the position is sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, good vision.
- The frequent physical demands of the position are, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination.
- The occasional physical demands of the position are lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.
