National Fuel is currently seeking to fill the below internship within the Information Technology department for the Summer 2026 semester.

IT Software Developer

• Collaborate with IT staff and third-party vendors to develop and deploy applications and system interfaces.
• Support development teams in designing, building, and deploying proprietary software solutions.
• Leverage AI tools to assist with optimizing business processes and application development.
• Contribute to development tasks including but not limited to UI/UX enhancements, content structuring, and performance optimization.

• Jr. or Sr. undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree/concentration in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related discipline
• Interest in a career in software development with an eager and open-minded attitude towards learning new technologies
• Proficient in or knowledgeable/open to investigating tools to assist in application development teams
• Ability to work with a high level of independence as well as collaboratively with a team
• Able to learn quickly and take initiative with a strong sense of ownership, with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple assignments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• The base pay for this position is $20/hr.
