Why a Great Opportunity

These are ground floor positions to join a growing startup and help them shape the technical direction and pace of the products they develop. Hiring Manager is not a micro manager and he’s looking for self starters who can be a direct contributor, own their area of the application and help them build and shape out the company culture. Their benefits are still being established, but he shared this with me:

Benefits package. This is what we can present for now, though the details are in the works (we are in very early stages so a lot of this is being put in place through 2022).

1. 401k. While we currently do not have one in place, we plan to implement one in 2022. I do not know yet what the match will be.

2. Health. Client pays 100% of the plan monthly premium for the employee and their family. It does not cover dental.

3. Bonus. We have an annual bonus (up to 10% base salary) that is triggered according to performance against goals.

4. Equity. For certain early key hires (including the three positions I have described to you), we do plan on offering equity, but defining the details is a work in progress.

Our client is a well-funded, early-stage company whose focus has been centered around changing live event experiences for fans and event hosts. They provide cost-effective event management solutions to help event organizers sell more tickets, market events intelligently and efficiently, and foster more valuable relationships with patrons. They are passionate about their technology and focus on providing disruptive technology that positively impacts the fan and enhances the way event creators buy and sell tickets to their live events across sports, music, and events of all kinds.

They are seeking an experienced Sr. Mobile Application Developer to add to their fledgling team. This is a ground floor opportunity to join a growing organization and serve as a key contributor in helping them conquer the exciting and fast evolving space of event management.

Their ideal candidate will have an independent, curious, and self-motivated mindset that makes them able to work on their goals independently or as part of a team. They should communicate well, be willing to challenge assumptions, show leadership by example, and enjoy building out teams. As well as possess a keen interest in technologies ranging from virtual events to blockchain ticketing, AR and VR.

Our client’s current tech stack:

• PHP 7.4+ for the 'core' back-end
• JavaScript front-end
• MySQL and Dynamo Db persistence
• AWS infrastructure
• Swift/iOS and Dart/Flutter for mobile

Responsibilities:

• Take on technical challenges big and small
• Participate in architectural and design decisions
• Define and adopt best practices that make sense for our team
• Focus on customer outcomes, and quality solutions
• Be confident with a number of different programming languages and operating systems
• Be experienced and comfortable in their 'wheelhouse', but always willing to learn and try new approaches
• Have an eye for UI and UX design
• Own development tasks from assignment through to production and operation
• Communicate extremely well, both verbally and in writing

Skills:

Required Senior-Level (3+ Years)

Skills and Experience:

• Swift, Kotlin, Dart or other mobile development language but must be willing to work in Swift/iOS and Dart/Flutter for the near term.
• Git and Github/Gitlab
• Automated testing (unit, integration, other)
• Visual design cycle using tools such as Figma
• Cross-device testing
• Practical experience working on publicly available, App Store distributed applications

Skills:
