Software Engineer – Java
Location

Buffalo, NY (Hybrid – Onsite Mon–Thu)

Java Developer, Full Stack Java Engineer, Backend Developer, Spring Boot Developer, RESTful APIs, Microservices Architecture, Oracle Database, SQL, Banking & Financial Services, Fintech, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD Pipeline, Dev Ops Tools (Jenkins, Git Lab), Unit Testing (JUnit), Maven/Gradle, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure – preferred but not required), API Design, Distributed Systems
Core Responsibilities & Requirements- 5 years of hands‑on experience in Java development with strong proficiency in Spring Boot
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle Database, including SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab CI)
- Proficiency in unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and integration testing tools
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Banking, financial services, or fintech domain experience is a strong plus
- Onsite from Day1 – Hybrid schedule (Mon‑Thu onsite; Fri remote)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Angular) for full‑stack contributions
- Certifications in Java, Spring, or cloud technologies
