Job Description We are seeking a Guidewire Developer - P&C Domain Experience to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Guidewire Insurance Suite development, configuration, and integrations and a proven ability to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality P&C insurance solutions. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, customize, and maintain Guidewire applications using best practices. Configure and enhance Policy Center, Claim Center, and/or Billing Center per business requirements. Develop Gosu classes, PCF screens, workflows, rules, plugins, integrations, and batch processes. Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, messaging, and middleware. Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with analysts and SMEs.
Extend and optimize the data model and configuration changes. Participate in upgrades, Guidewire Cloud migrations, and modernization efforts. Perform code reviews, unit and integration testing, and support QA activities. Troubleshoot production issues, complete root cause analysis, and implement fixes. Ensure compliance with SDLC processes, coding standards, security policies, and Guidewire best practices. Prepare technical designs, documentation, and deployment materials. Support production releases and provide post-implementation support.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of Guidewire development experience. Hands-on experience with one or more:
Policy Center, Claim Center, Billing Center. Strong Gosu programming, Guidewire Studio, and Configuration expertise. Knowledge of data model extensions, product model, rules engine, workflows, and plugins. Experience developing REST APIs, SOAP services, and enterprise integrations. Strong SQL with Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. Preferred
Skills:
Guidewire Cloud Platform, Spring Framework, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD best practices. Property & Casualty (P&C) Domain Expertise:
Property & Casualty Insurance across Personal and Commercial Lines. Policy administration lifecycle: new business, issuance, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements. Claims management: FNOL, adjudication, and recovery processes. Billing and payments, underwriting, rating and pricing, and reinsurance. Producer and agency management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. Technical
Skills:

Preferred Qualifications:
Guidewire Certified Developer. Guidewire Cloud implementations or cloud migrations experience. Experience upgrading Guidewire applications across major versions. Knowledge of Insurance Suite architecture and integration framework. Integration with third-party systems, payment gateways, document management, and rating engines. Event-driven architecture, Kafka, or messaging platforms.
Soft Skills:
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with clear communication. Effective collaboration with business users, architects, QA, and project managers. Organizational skills with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Commitment to quality, security, and scalability. Nice to Have:
Guidewire Cloud APIs, Digital applications, Data Hub, Info Center. Guidewire Test Util or automated testing frameworks. Dev Ops practices and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
