Senior Engineer

In one sentence, we're looking for a senior engineer who loves talking to customers as much as they love shipping code, someone who can turn messy onboarding into scalable product wins.

You have 5+ years of experience building backend or data-driven systems (Python, Node, or similar) and shipping production code that customers rely on.

You have 2–3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as customer success, solutions engineering, or sales engineering.

You have previous experience working in finance, accounting, or a related domain, and understand the workflows behind Quick Books, Excel, and financial reporting.

You are confident working directly with finance leaders, ops managers, and consultants to translate their pain into productized dashboards.

You are skilled with APIs, ETL, and databases, and know how to stitch systems together and make them scale.

You are obsessed with automation and documentation so that every solution you ship makes the next one faster.

You thrive in ambiguity, take action quickly, and get energy from wearing multiple hats in a startup.

You can clearly explain what you build, demo it to customers, and capture insights that feed back into the product.

What you'll do:

Turn data from spreadsheets, accounting software, CRMs, and other APIs into dashboards that deliver instant insight.
Ship reusable templates so every client setup makes the next one faster.
Talk directly to CFOs, controllers, and ops leads, translate their pain into clean product solutions.
Own onboarding: faster customer go-live = faster MRR for us.
Connect with clients, turn onboarding into automation, and ensure nothing slows down sales or product velocity.
Automate, document, and systemize, so the next 100 onboardings are easier than the first.
Build and harden backend integrations (ETL, APIs, dashboards) that scale with thousands of customers.
Ensure our data pipelines are secure, reliable, and enterprise-ready (SOC2, best practices).
Push performance where it matters, make dashboards feel instant, even at scale.
