Software Engineer

Location: Buffalo, NY Salary: $80.00 USD Hourly - $88.00 USD Hourly Description:
Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in advanced SQL development, including data modeling, complex query optimization, performance tuning, indexing strategies, stored procedures, and database troubleshooting.
• Expertise in database change management and Dev Ops practices using Liquibase, including schema versioning, rollback strategies, CI/CD integration, and deployment automation.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database and enterprise-grade application development using Java, Spring Boot, JDBC, and JPA.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure database integrations, support cloud migration initiatives, and drive database modernization efforts.
• Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and promoting database development best practices across teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
