Warehouse Associate

Position: Warehouse Associate I
Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting a Warehouse Associate for an onsite opportunity in Cheektowaga. In this role, you will support daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure freight is received, processed, and delivered accurately and on time. Responsibilities

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

+ Assisting with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise

+ Matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders to sales associates for processing

+ Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped

+ Ensuring the warehouse is accessible, organized, and safe for employee and customer traffic

+ Completing all work in a safe manner while adhering to safety policies and procedures

+ Assembling products and participating in inventory counts as needed

+ Taking check calls from drivers to ensure loads will deliver on time

+ Validating load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting purposes

+ Monitoring daily pick-ups and deliveries to verify loads arrive on time and in good condition

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures

+ Strong communication skills to coordinate with drivers and internal teams

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience

+ Experience working with drivers or transportation teams

Work Schedule & Details

+ Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Monday - Saturday

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

** Pay Details:**  $18.00 per hour
