Position: Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

10:30 PM start time

  • Average $79,000 annually
  • Monday through Friday
  • Dedicated route
  • Home daily
  • Driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral
What you will do
  • Perform multi‑stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
  • Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
  • Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
Schedule
  • Monday through Friday
  • 10:30 PM start time
You will drive
  • Late model, Penske‑maintained trucks
  • Best‑in‑class specs designed for comfort and safety
  • Equipped with inward and outward‑facing in‑cab cameras to ensure safety for all

Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
  • Currently hold, or be able to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card.
  • 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years.
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • English language proficiency required to comply with federal law.
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and pass a drug screening.
  • Position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety‑sensitive; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
  • Associates must accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.

  • The associate must be able to see and hear. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
  • The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and the rear cargo area.
