Position Description
Class A CDL Truck Driver in Milton, PA with travel to selected domicile locations in the Northeast, South and Midwest. Weekly pay, comprehensive benefits and a rewarding driving career.
Pay & Schedule- Base pay $90,000–$92,000 per year (approximately $1,769 or more per week)
- Mileage pay $0.67 per mile
- Stop pay $10 per stop (or $15 per stop for more than 10 stops per week)
- Layover pay $30 per night out
- Route premium pay available
- Weekly schedule:
Sunday – Thursday/Friday, start time 10:00 AM dispatch

- New Haven, CT
- Hartford, CT
- Greenville, SC
- Charlotte, NC
- Atlanta, GA
- Jacksonville, FL
- Tractor type:
Automatic sleeper trucks - Trailer type: mainly curtain‑side trailers, some 53 ft dry vans
- Freight: vehicle accessories
- Medical, dental & vision after 30 days
- 80 hours PTO first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it)
- Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance

- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Class A experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Some positions require additional employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle record checks, road tests, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
- Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
