Truck Driver CDL A Solo Regional

Position Description

Class A CDL Truck Driver in Milton, PA with travel to selected domicile locations in the Northeast, South and Midwest. Weekly pay, comprehensive benefits and a rewarding driving career.

• Base pay $90,000–$92,000 per year (approximately $1,769 or more per week)
• Mileage pay $0.67 per mile
• Stop pay $10 per stop (or $15 per stop for more than 10 stops per week)
• Layover pay $30 per night out
• Route premium pay available
• Weekly schedule:
  Sunday – Thursday/Friday, start time 10:00 AM dispatch

• Tractor type:
  Automatic sleeper trucks
• Trailer type: mainly curtain‑side trailers, some 53 ft dry vans
• Freight: vehicle accessories

• Medical, dental & vision after 30 days
• 80 hours PTO first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it)

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

Some positions require additional employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle record checks, road tests, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
