Operate heavy and tractor-trailer GVW capacity trucks of over 26,000 pounds following safety rules and DOT regulations;
Act as a messenger for the company and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers;
Load freight onto the truck using a forklift and pallet jack, and secure cargo with load locks, straps, covers, etc.;
Unload freight from truck and verify delivery documentation for accuracy; report irregularities;
Maintain radio contact with dispatch and report delays due to weather, breakdowns, accidents, or emergencies
