- Key responsibilities include:
operating commercial trucks with manual transmissions in compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations; navigating efficiently using GPS; handling different cargo types with care; performing vehicle inspections; maintaining accurate logs; and communicating effectively with dispatch teams. - Qualifications and skills:
valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience with tractor-trailers; knowledge of logistics and cargo handling, including hazardous materials; proficiency with GPS and route planning; and understanding of safety and regulatory standards.
