CDL Class B Driver

McIntosh Box and Pallet is hiring a 1st shift CDL B Driver in Buffalo, NY!

We are seeking a dependable and organized CDL B Truck Driver who can consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries to join our team! This role will start out part time but has the potential to become full time.

Pay: $22 based on experience

Hours:
Day Shift 6:30-3:00

As a CDL B Truck Driver you will help ensure our product is delivered in a safe and timely manner. You will have the opportunity to build long standing relationships with our customers during deliveries.

A CDL Driver's Responsibilities:

• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle
• Ensure trailer hitch is properly and securely attached to the tractor unit
• Communicate with dispatch as needed
• Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip
• Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations
• Make safety a priority at all times

Requirements:

• Valid CDL driver’s license required
• 2+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• A background check and drug test are required
• Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer
• Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
• Physically and mentally fit
• An innate sense of direction
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
