The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including coordinating material flow to support machine production, pulling and prepping orders for shipment, receiving and stocking incoming material, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This role is a critical part of our operations team, helping to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone
Duties/Responsibilities- Retrieve and stage the proper material in coordination with machine production schedules.
- Pull and prep orders for shipment in an accurate and timely manner.
- Receive, verify, and stock all incoming material in the correct warehouse locations.
- Return inventory to the correct location after production is complete.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
- Communicate regularly with team members and management regarding concerns, discrepancies, and continuous improvement ideas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards and warehouse best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workflow efficiency and achieve departmental goals.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift product using material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to following safety policies and procedures.
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory is preferred.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
