Material Handling Associate

Cheektowaga, NY

Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (+ OT available)

We're hiring a Material Handling Associate to support warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, tracking, and moving materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and smooth operational flow.

• Receive materials, verify quantities/part numbers, and enter data into ERP systems
• Store and route materials to correct warehouse/production locations
• Pack and prepare outgoing shipments per customer requirements
• Transport materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified)
• Support production with kitting, staging, and material delivery
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Label, tag, and document materials and shipments
• Assist with shipping inquiries, tracking, and internal requests
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with 6S standards

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience
• Ability to lift 35+ lbs and stay active throughout shift
• Basic computer/data entry skills
• Strong communication skills (English)
• Reliable with strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Forklift experience or certification (a plus)
• 2+ years in shipping/receiving
• Experience with ERP systems
• Microsoft Excel & Word knowledge
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Cheektowaga, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
