General Warehouse Associate

GENERAL WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for a full‑time General Warehouse Associate with a “whatever it takes” attitude. The main responsibilities are to pick/pack orders and deliver to our customers accurately and efficiently, with safety a priority.

Location:

Buffalo, New York, United States.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Always focus on safety – safety training and direction must be adhered to.
• Perform various warehouse activities including picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away.
• Prepare and submit all daily paperwork in a timely manner as required.
• Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management.
• Report directly to the Warehouse Supervisors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Requirements:

• Ability to pass a non‑D.O.T. physical with drug screen.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Detail oriented and self‑motivated.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Experience with warehouse equipment: forklifts, electric pallet trucks, elevated work platforms, manual pallet jacks (preferred).
• Experience with handheld equipment such as RF scanners, palm devices, and/or tablets (preferred).
• Basic computer skills a must; AS400 experience a plus.
• High school diploma / GED equivalent.
