Salary Range: $33.78- $42.23

The Warehouse Leader will provide direction for all material handling or assembly operations within the Genesee Product Company Warehouse for their designated team. This includes operations in receiving, put away and outgoing distribution.

• Responsible for following all the safety policies while maintaining and promoting safe behavior and a safety-first attitude throughout the product company
• Conducts annual performance reviews for team.
• Approves timecards for team in timekeeping system.
• Provides leadership and mentors team to promote a positive morale and attitude
• Maintains a good working relationship with department colleagues and the supporting departments.
• Promotes the level of quality expected from our customers, both internal and external working closely with the Quality group.
• Maintains and supports established warehousing systems and assists in continuous process improvements.
• Provides and supports training for warehouse employees.
• Assists in the coordination of freight services, satisfying all customer requirements.
• Ensure all system transactions are timely and accurate.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Education level

Minimum High School Diploma/GED

Relevant Previous Experience

Minimum 5 years experience in distribution and warehousing with 3 to 5 years team leader experience.

Knowledge areas/Skills

• Solid experience with computerized ERP programs – SAP experience beneficial.
• Demonstrated skill and achievement in implementing Lean practices in an operations environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Forklift certification preferred.
