Warehouse Manager

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse operations in support of our rapidly growing business. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Manager will oversee inventory management, material flow, warehouse personnel, shipping and receiving activities, and warehouse process improvements. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials that support production and customer deliveries.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and experience managing warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, and adherence to established inventory management processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, and Procurement teams to maintain material availability.
  • Oversee proper handling, storage, and movement of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate transaction processing within the ERP system.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforce.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and training.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and workload balancing to meet operational requirements.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Logistics & Distribution

  • Ensure timely and accurate shipment of products to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities with carriers and transportation providers.
  • Monitor shipping performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement.
  • Resolve shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies promptly.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Identify and implement warehouse process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain warehouse metrics, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment performance, on-time shipments, and labor productivity.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to support production growth and business needs.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse best practices.
  • Promote a safe working environment through training, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain organization and housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of material handling equipment.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and warehouse management processes.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
