Role Description

The Regional Financial Controller is a full-time, on‑site role based in Buford, GA. This role is responsible for owning the day‑today accounting and financial operations of the CPG Southeast Region while serving as the primary business partner to regional leadership. Qualifications
  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA preferred.
  • 5‑7+ years of accounting experience required. Experience in residential construction or homebuilding is highly desirable. Manufacturing accounting experience is a plus.
  • Microsoft Dynamics SL, Oracle, and/or Sage experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, including job costing, work‑in‑progress (WIP) reporting, pro forma underwriting, and progress billing
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and construction industry regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership in the management and development of accounting processes, improvements, and team development.
