Position: Assistant Editor 365 Degree Total Marketing

Company Overview

With over 40 years in the field, 365 Degree Total Marketing is seeking an experienced, motivated Assistant Editor to join its highly successful, award-winning, multi-media, full-service marketing agency and publisher based in St. Simons Island, Georgia.

Duties & Responsibilities

As an Assistant Editor at 365 Degree Total Marketing, you will manage and create deadline-driven editorial features, resources sections, and other editorial components of excellence throughout all departments of a national class team and its production of services, products, and digital + print projects. including:
Publications;
Advertising;
Editorial;
Public Relations;
Website Development;
Digital;
Video and Photography.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree (Masters valued) in journalism, writing, marketing or related fields preferred
  • Deadline-driven track record in journalism, publishing, public relations, project management and marketing, preferred
  • Knowledge of Journalism, Publishing, Public Relations, Photography, Videography, Graphic Design, Marketing, Digital Services and management desired
  • Ability to develop and hit deadlines in a deadline-driven environment
  • Leadership by example
  • Time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and self-manage
  • Ability to explain complex concepts to creative types
  • Ability to solve problems in stressful situations
