Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is actively seeking professional, self-motivated, skilled cake decorators/bakery assistants to create dream wedding cakes for our brides in a fun working environment. This person can adapt and learn quickly.

This is a part-time position only. This employee will be scheduled when needed and the schedule fluctuates in line with how busy the wedding season gets. There will be weeks where you may not be needed during slow periods. Weekends required when necessary.

  High School diploma or equivalent, culinary degree preferred
• Required Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years of cake decorating experience
• Certifications:
  
  Serv Safe Food Handlers or equivalent
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.

DUTIES:

• Responsible for baking cakes, desserts and cake decorating.
• Must be familiar with basic textures such as stone, horizontal, stucco, wedding dots and palette.
• Must have a working knowledge of food coloring, fondant, edible images, and cake design.
