Graphic Designer

Mighty 8th Media is seeking a Graphic Designer who is strategic, highly collaborative, and confident owning projects from concept through execution. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced studio environment, brings strong creative direction to the table, and can manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.

As a contributor, you will be expected to provide creative leadership, elevate design standards across client work, and support the Creative Director and team by bringing thoughtful, well-crafted solutions to complex communication challenges.

• Exceptional creative and conceptual thinking
• Strong design fundamentals: typography, layout, hierarchy, and composition
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Confidence working directly with clients and presenting ideas clearly
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage scope, timelines, and budgets while maintaining high-quality output
• Illustration and drawing ability are a plus

• Lead the creative development and production of projects from concept through completion
• Partner with clients to assess needs, define project parameters, and help establish timelines
• Develop innovative, effective visual solutions aligned to client goals and brand strategy
• Present work, manage feedback, and build strong client relationships
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure project alignment and execution
• Contribute to and uphold Mighty 8th’s quality, consistency, and creative standards
• Bring a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to the studio every day

• BA degree in graphic design preferred. Graduate work in graphic design or fine art helpful.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe CC Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is required, with Figma experience preferred.

We are a very collaborative team, and applicants will be expected to work in our studio 5 days a week. This is not a remote position. We are located outside Atlanta in historic downtown Buford.
