Duties:
Customer Support & Relationship Management
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Build positive relationships with customers, dealers, territory managers, and internal teams.
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer concerns while maintaining high service standards.
- Escalate unresolved issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
Order & Account Management
- Process customer orders, demo requests, returns, credits, warranty claims, and replacement orders.
- Review order status and provide accurate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Submit order changes, cancellations, and addendums while maintaining data accuracy.
- Track shipments and proactively communicate status updates.
Product & System Expertise
- Develop a strong understanding of company products, pricing, and customer solutions.
- Utilize company systems, including electronic catalogs, the corporate website, and AS400.
- Verify inventory availability and provide product recommendations and information.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Meet established response-time and customer service metrics.
- Maintain an open issue log and follow through on outstanding customer requests.
- Review daily operational reports and identify opportunities to improve service.
- Participate in team meetings, training programs, and ongoing professional development.
- Partner closely with Customer Care Supervisors, Leads, Distribution Center Services, Dealers, and Territory Managers.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and customer-first culture.
- Support special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ years of customer service, administrative, call center, sales support, or related experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting customers via phone and email.
- Familiarity with AS400 /order management, inventory, or ERP systems.
- Experience working with dealers, distributors, or business customers.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships.
