Associate Dentist
Role SummaryAssociate Dentists are responsible for providing dental services to patients with the support of their team. The practice is equipped with Denta Pro software, digital X‑ray and Panorex units, fiber‑optic handpieces, and offers yearly OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training. The team includes a hygienist, a hygiene assistant and two dental assistants per provider. The patient base is primarily ages 3‑21 with up to 30% adult population.
Office flow averages 10‑12 operative patients and 20‑25 hygiene patients daily. State insurance plans, PPO and out‑of‑network payor mix are accepted.
- Provide comprehensive dental care to children and adults.
- Perform preventive, restorative, and diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation.
- Participate in morning huddles and team meetings.
- Promote a positive image of the company within the community.
- DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in the state(s) where care is provided or eligibility for licensure.
- Required certifications such as CPR, DEA, and Nitrous Oxide (for LA, MS, DC, TX, MA).
- Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults.
