WhatYou’ll Do
- Prepare construction drawings for water and wastewater infrastructure projects including pipelines, treatment facilities, storage tanks, and pump stations
- Assist with the design and analysis of municipal water and sewer systems
- Perform hydraulic modeling and system evaluations using tools such as Water
CAD, Innovyze, or similar software - Support permitting efforts and coordinate with regulatory agencies
- Participate in construction administration activities including site visits and coordination with contractors
- Assist in preparing technical reports, specifications, and project documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
- Manage project tasks to meet scope, schedule, and quality goals
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Biosystems Engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain (PE path strongly preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience working with municipal water and wastewater clients
- Experience in planning, design, permitting, and construction administration of infrastructure projects
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with hydraulic modeling software preferred
- Strong understanding of hydraulic analysis and design principles
- Knowledge of utility construction methods, materials, and water/wastewater treatment technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to participate in client interactions
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflow
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with project financial tracking tools preferred

Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.;
Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
