UL Lab Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Certification Project Engineer to support product certification and compliance initiatives within a growing manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing UL and CSA certification projects, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring products meet applicable regulatory and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with certification agencies, project management, laboratory testing environments, and cross-functional engineering teams.

• Manage certification projects related to UL and CSA approvals
  , ensuring compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
• Independently perform moderately complex certification assignments and project testing activities under general supervision.
• Assist Senior Project Leaders with more complex certification and compliance projects.
• Coordinate project activities with Laboratory Supervisors and Technicians to support testing and certification schedules.
• Obtain and maintain qualifications necessary to participate in the UL Data Submittal Program
  .
• Obtain and maintain qualifications necessary to participate in the CSA Category Program
  .
• Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation related to certification projects.
• Monitor project timelines, communicate status updates, and help resolve technical issues.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to testing, compliance, and certification processes.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Experience with UL, CSA, or other product certification programs
  .
• Background in manufacturing, product testing, regulatory compliance, or product development.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret technical standards and certification requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with laboratory testing environments is a plus.
