Overview
Voyles Garage Door Services is a fast growing, multi-location operation built on integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement. With seven locations across the East Coast and a large network of subcontracted installers supporting our field operations each week, precision matters and so does the team behind the numbers. Our Buford headquarters is the financial engine driving our expansion. The accounting team supports operations, improves processes, and builds the structure that allows our field teams to succeed.
At Voyles, your work will be seen. Your ideas will matter. And your growth will move alongside the company’s growth.
This role is built for someone who wants ownership. As our Staff Accountant, you will take responsibility for key accounting functions that directly support field operations across multiple locations. From subcontractor pay and inventory reconciliation to revenue reporting and month end close, you will see how the numbers connect to real business performance. You will work closely with leadership and operational teams, resolve system and data challenges, strengthen reporting processes, and help elevate our financial infrastructure.
This is an opportunity to expand your technical skill set, deepen your operational finance knowledge, and position yourself for future growth. If you are detail driven, proactive, and motivated to continuously improve processes rather than just maintain them, you will thrive here.
- Prepare journal entries, support month-end close, and reconcile bank accounts
- Reconcile inventory, resolve variances, and assist with cycle counts (including occasional travel)
- Manage AR and AP aging and weekly subcontractor pay across multiple locations
- Oversee subcontractor 1099 compliance, sales tax filings, and business license renewals
- Prepare weekly and monthly revenue reports and support ad hoc financial and operational analysis
- Serve as Service Titan subject matter expert, resolve system issues, and identify process improvements to strengthen internal controls
