Operator I is responsible for filling the bottles, containers, or bags with the proper fill weight or count. The Operator will also be responsible for the complete set up and disassembly of the filler and any applicable accessories such as tooling.
- Responsible for learning the Filler and all its functions.
- Must maintain the tooling and accessories for the fillers in good status and report any damage or issues with the equipment to the supervisor.
- Disassemble, and assemble all parts to the filler.
- Wash, sanitize and dry the tooling as well as store them properly for next use.
- Arrive early for line start up to ensure production starts in a timely manner.
- Conduct hourly metal detector tests during the production day.
- Ensure that key information such as fill target, minimum, maximum is present prior to production start.
- Spot check fill to ensure that weights are compliant to the work order.
- Maintain a clean workspace by assisting in housekeeping duties to minimize food safety risks.
- Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly, 50 pounds frequently and 75 + pounds with assistance, daily.
- Willing to work overtime as necessary.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Experience- High school diploma /GED or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Prioritization and time management skills.
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Experience in a food facility or facility that follows cGMP practices is preferred but not required.
- AMS Filler experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
- Knowledge of the cGMP guidelines
- Ability to communicate thoroughly with peers.
- Work under pressure to deliver consistent results with high quality.
