Bench Technician – Contract To Hire
A contract manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Bench Technician in Buford, GA, known for its vibrant industrial sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting‑edge electronic equipment in a fast‑paced environment.
Shift of the Bench Technician: 8am-5pm
Pay Rate of the Bench Technician: $23/hr
Responsibilities of the Bench Technician:
- Repair and quality test industrial electronic equipment.
- Experience with AC/DC Drives, PLCs, Touchscreens, and other industrial electronics.
- Conduct full function tests on repaired units and document work orders.
- Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi‑meters for repairs.
- Order necessary components for repairs and maintain detailed records.
Qualifications of the Bench Technician:
- Proficient in computer skills and able to multi‑task.
- Detail‑oriented with strong soldering and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication skills and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience reading schematics and working with electronic components.
