The Maintenance Technician is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Hoschton, GA. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing production equipment and machinery to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Day‑to‑day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing equipment issues, completing corrective and preventive maintenance, and documenting work in maintenance logs or systems. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate with production and engineering teams to support changeovers, improve equipment performance, and reduce downtime.
The role also involves following safety protocols, complying with company and regulatory standards, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance for manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess proven Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance, including inspections, scheduled servicing, and reliability‑based practices.
- Candidates should possess hands‑on Maintenance & Repair skills for production machinery and support equipment.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include knowledge of plastics manufacturing or packaging operations, ability to read technical drawings and manuals, and familiarity with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work safely, lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, and use tools and equipment in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
