What You'll Do
  • Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisiting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company's products and services.
  • Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise appropriately, and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.
  • Maintain the sales floor in the Optical area in accordance with company policies by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
  • Receive and stock merchandise in the Optical area and organize and maintain the area by following company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing paperwork, logs and other required documentation.
  • Operate hardware such as cash registers or related equipment, process member purchases, and assist in payments, returns, refunds and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
  • Sell optical products and services by assisting Members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting and repairing frames and lenses, completing eyewear / contact lens orders, identifying and verifying prescription information, completing and maintaining paperwork, forms and other required documentation, collecting payments for doctor services, and performing and recording results of optometric pre‑tests.

Other Information
  • The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 to $41.00.
  • The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
  • Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
