The Asset Protection Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Buford, GA, responsible for supporting store safety, inventory integrity, and loss prevention initiatives. This role monitors store activity, reviews exception reports, and assists with investigations related to theft, shrink, and policy compliance. The Asset Protection Coordinator partners with store leadership and associates to promote safety standards, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to company procedures.
Responsibilities include training team members on asset protection practices, supporting incident reporting and documentation, and collaborating with law enforcement or corporate partners when needed. The Coordinator also contributes to a positive customer environment by maintaining a visible, professional presence on the sales floor while protecting company assets.
- Strong asset-focused capabilities, including Asset Management and Digital Asset Management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and trends using solid Analytical Skills to identify risks and recommend solutions.
- Clear and professional Communication skills to collaborate with store teams, leadership, and external partners.
- Customer Service skills to balance asset protection needs with a welcoming, supportive in-store experience.
- Previous experience in retail, loss prevention, security, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with store operations, inventory processes, and basic audit practices is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and move on the sales floor for extended periods and respond quickly to incidents.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in security or asset protection is a plus.
